When a website user registers for FlightSimExpo, they will be asked to agree to a set of terms during the registration process ("Registration Terms"). We attempt to be good corporate citizens. As members of the flight simulation community, we respect and appreciate the privacy of website users and simmers from around the world.
This website collects a limited amount of data. We use Google Analytics to track website views and general/aggregate data on website users. For more information on how Google uses data when using its partners' sites or apps, please visit this webpage. To provide website visitors more choice on how their data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed an Opt-out Browser add-on to enable you to opt-out of Google’s programs.
With the exception of the Google Analytics tracking mentioned above, the only data we collect is during the registration process, which is governed by the Registration Terms users agree to during that process.
If a user elects to email us, we’ll then use their contact information to reply as applicable. We’ll also retain that email correspondence for future reference. Users can also opt in, or opt out, of marketing/mailing lists through links on this website.
Sharing of Information
We reserve the right to share any contact information you provide us with current and prospective organizations that we have retained for the purpose of developing our event. These organizations may include: our convention venue, MailChimp, RegFox, Google Analytics, event planning consultants, and similar organizations. We will also share general demographic information with sponsors, exhibitors, and/or the public. However, information such as an email address will never be shared with a third party without consent, except a third party who we have retained as described above.
