FlightSimExpo Houston will be held at two locations hear Houston’s Hobby Airport. On Friday, June 23, seminars and a welcome social are held at the DoubleTree Hobby Airport. On Saturday and Sunday, the event shifts to the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Airport (EFD) for exhibits and seminars.
Attendees will be able to fly their own aircraft to the event, or drive from nearby hotels. The museum is a 15-minute drive from Hobby Airport (HOU) and 45 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental (IAH).
See the "To and From the Airport" drop-down on our travel page for transportation options between the airport and FlightSimExpo hotels.
The Museum is a quick 15-minute drive from the two host hotels. Free parking, rental cars, rideshare, and carpool options make it an easy trip! We’ve made carpooling easy with a dedicated chatroom for attendees on Discord, the social app for FlightSimExpo.
Additionally, coach buses will run a shuttle service to/from the Museum throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. Departing every 20-30 minutes, the buses will stop at the DoubleTree, Marriott, and Lone Star Flight Museum and are free for all FlightSimExpo attendees courtesy of Blackbird Simulations, Thrustmaster, and X-Plane.
