Frequently Asked Questions
FlightSimExpo is scheduled for June 21-23, 2024. There will be optional/add-on activities such as aviation facility tours happening on the Thursday, Friday, and Monday surrounding the event.
The event will be held at Rio Las Vegas, a vibrant oasis just one block off the famed Las Vegas Strip on Flamingo Road. Boasting an impressive array of spacious 580 square-foot all-suite guestrooms, a sprawling 5-acre pool paradise, an energetic 150,000 square-foot casino, and a massive convention and meeting complex, Rio delivers the complete Las Vegas experience to its guests. Free self-parking is available at the hotel for overnight and daily visitors. The hotel is a quick drive, taxi, or rideshare from the airport.
Details on FlightSimExpo registration are available on our registration page.
Our three registration options are: "Entire Event" (Friday-Sunday), "Weekend Only" (Saturday and Sunday), and "Sunday Only". Because more activities and bigger presentations tend to happen on the Saturday, our "Weekend Only" option includes both Saturday and Sunday.
If you're planning to attend the event only on Saturday, June 22, 2024, please select the "Weekend Only" registration option.
We're pleased to welcome children 12 years of age and younger to attend FlightSimExpo at no charge, when accompanied by a registered adult or guardian. Please complete your registration online, then email info@flightsimexpo.com and we'll provide a code to register a child at no charge.
We ask all attendees over the age of 12 to complete a registration. 10-20% discounts on registrations are available for FSA members and from select Media Partners.
FlightSimExpo changed venues in February 2024 but the dates and overall plan for the event remain the same. The new venue is Rio Las Vegas, located just one block off the famed Las Vegas Strip on Flamingo Road.
Visit our Travel page for details about Rio room reservations. Book through the link on that page to take advantage of discounted pricing and a $25 credit per booked room toward food and beverage at the venue.
Rio was selected following three weeks of long nights, in-depth discussions, communication with our partners, along with input from the community. The initial 'lead' for the venue was suggested by a member in our Discord, and the location was voted on during a survey conducted on the week of February 10. In the survey, 77% of more than 600 respondents recommended Rio as the new venue for our show.
We'll share more information about these credits as the event approaches. We are tentatively planning to email vouchers a few days before the event, but this method is subject to change.
We will reach out to all four on-property shows to inquire about group pricing and anticipate having more information about these options as the event nears. In addition, we are working on a series of fun, group activities for attendees to meet and interact with each other off-site and after hours.
